Zombie-fied...

My coworkers and I were all zombies.

During our lunch hour, we went downstairs, to the zombie-tailored food court. There we found such establishments as ‘Brain Bonanza’, ‘International House of Innards’, and a vegan zombie joint, which I unfortunately can’t remember the name of.

It wasn’t scary....it was just...normal. As if we had always been zombies. As if cannibalism was the thing. As if my giant hamburger of ground up intestine was standard fare on a Monday afternoon.

I have had some weird dreams in my life, and this one was right up there. I am hoping that these vivid dreams stop soon – because I am definitely not getting any good sleep.

I think the worst thing about this dream was how mundane it seemed...til I woke up, and grossed myself out over my subconscious self eating ground up human.....ick.

Is it more weird that as zombies you're working in an office and not out pillaging or something??

Yea, you are probably right...but then, lately, I've felt like a zombie most days, so it's probably not *that* far off...

Wow, the zombie life is just as boring as the regular kind.

At least you didn't liken it to my cooking. Should I put some of that on the menu for the week of T-giving?

h - seems so. the only thing different is dexterity and meal preference, i think. although the fine motor skills could be debatable, at least in my case.....

ma - no, no thanks. if you do, i will probably go stay at sara's :-P

OMG, I had a strange dream last night too! Ok, this is a terrible one, so please don't judge me too much, because after all, I can't exactly control my subconscious, right?
So I used to babysit for these kids. They moved away. :(. I dreamed that they came back, only now they had a baby for me to keep since the original kids were too big (teenagers now). I was so happy about keeping this baby. Unfortunately, I was also very forgetful in this dream. I kept leaving the baby beneath plastic bags and it would stop breathing. I would freak out. Then someone said it was ok, it just needed to be exposed to the air for a few minutes and it would start breathing again. The baby did start breathing again. I was so relieved. Then for some reason, I decided to take the baby to my friend's house. She was apparently still living with her ex-husband? And we all sat outside. In a lightning storm.
Weird.
I promise I'm not a baby-smotherer.
